Verses on Raising Children

Luke 2:52 - Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, in favor with God, and in favor with man. We should help our children do the same. Romans 12:11-18 - We should model to our children the concepts in these verses. We shouldn't do things slothfully; we should do our best and be fair. We should be hopeful even when life brings trials. We should help others and show hospitality. Don't speak ill of our enemies, but pray for them and do good to them. Share with others - be happy for the great fortune of others, and cry with those whose hearts are breaking. Don't show favorites based on status. Don't try to get revenge. Live in peace.
